Tarjetas para el Día de las Madres

Hola a todas!  Espero se encuentren bien. Un post rapidito para mostrarles mis últimas tarjetas. Tuve la oportunidad de diseñar 4 tarjetas para el Día de Madres y ofrecer el taller este pasado fin de semana en una actividad privada. Aquí les muestro las tarjetas. Espero les gusten.

Proyecto de Mixed Media

Hola a todas! Espero se encuentren bien. Continuo disfrutando de mis mini vacaciones. Y como les habia mencionado estoy terminando algunos de los proyectos que tenia pendientes. El primero es un canvas ¡en mixed media!. Tuve la oportunidad de tomar un taller el pasado enero con la ¡gran Christy Tomlinson!  Aprendimos las técnicas para crear un canvas usando pinturas, marcadores, rubons, masks, modeling paste, stamps, modge podge, una variedad de texturas y papel.   Creo que todas las asistentes quedamos encantadas con las técnicas sobre todo por que te dá una libertad creativa super! Nada está mal! Todo es permitido!  ¡Perfecto para liberar el stress!

Hi!!  I hope you're doing fine. I'm still enjoying my mini-vacations and as I told you before I'm finally finishing some of the projects I had waiting.  First one is a mixed media art canvas!  I had the oportunity to take a workshop with the great Christy Tomlinson! We learned the techniques to create a canvas using paint, markers, rubons, masks, modeling paste, modge podge, a variety of textures and paper.  I think all the students loved the workshop specially because it gives you an awesome creative freedom! Nothing is wrong! Everything is ok! Perfect to get rid of stress!

Así que logré conseguir un par de canvas, nuevos stamps y mucho modge podge. Quienes me conocen bien saben que me encantan los personajes de fantasia como fairies, sirenas.. etc.! Así que consegui una imagen de una sirena que me encantó, la tracé y corté en papel... le decoré la cola con circulitos de papel como si fuera sus escamas y la utilicé en mi canvas. ¡Me encantó el resultado! Aunque la próxima vez trataré de no pintar sobre las uniones del papel para que la pintura se vea uniforme. ¿Que te parece?

So I got a couple canvas, new stamps and a lot of modge podge. Those who know me well know that I'm a fan of fantasy characters,  fairies, mermaids, etc.! So I found an image of a mermaid that I really liked, I traced it and cut in paper. I decorated the tail with little circles made out of scraps and used it in my canvas.  I love the result! But next time I will try not to paint over the paper joints so the paint looks more even. What you think?

Tarjetas para una buenas amigas

¡Hola nuevamente!  Espero estés disfrutando de una tranquila Semana Santa en familia. Ya tomandome un pequeño descancito hasta el próximo lunes así que con animos de inventar alguna tarjetita o terminar alguno de los proyectos que están esperando por mi! LOL!  Quiero mostrarte estas tarjetas de cumpleaños que hice para unas buenas amiguitas en su cumpleaños.

La primera es Tilda cocinera pues mi amiguita es tremenda Chef! jeje! En serio cocina rico!! La base de la tarjeta está hecha con la técnica de "napkin folding" ¡Queda espectacular! La frase es un digi stamp hecho por mí.

Hi there! I hope you're enjoying of this special week and spring break with your family.  I'm finally enjoying a little relaxing time 'till next monday and with the will to create a card or to finish any of the dozens of projects I have waiting to be finished! LOL!  I want to share with all of you this cards I did for two special friends on their birthdays. 


First one is with Chef Tilda because my friend is really a good Chef! hehe! Seriously she cooks delicious! The card base is made with the napkin folding technique... It looks awesome! The sentiment is a digi stamp that I designed.

 Y así se vé una vez abierta. • This is how it looks when opened.

Y esta es la otra tarjetita tambien con Tilda. La base está hecha con una variación de la "easel card". This is the other card. The base is made with a variation of the easel card.

¡Estoy viva! LOL!!

Hola a todas!! Nuevamente atrasada en el blog pero como siempre he estado ocupada y ¡pues hay que atender nuestras prioridades!  Sé que ustedes comprenden.  Quise hacer este post rapidito antes de olvidarlo para mostrarles dos páginas que hice para una clase con los papeles de la colección Alora de Bo Bunny. Unos papeles bellisimos!! llenos de posibilidades! Y utilicé fotos de la boda de mi prima! ¿Boda con tanto colorido? SI! ¿Por que no?! Me encanta!! Mil disculpas por la foto del celular.  ¡Espero les gusten! ¡Las veo pronto!

Hi everyone! Again late with posts and updates. So sorry for that! I'm a bit busy as usual and of course I need to take care of my priorities! I know you all understand. I wanted to do a quick post before I forget! LOL!... of two pages I did for a class with Bo Bunny's new collection Alora.  BEATIFUL collection full of possibilities! I used pictures of my cousin's wedding! A wedding page so colorful? Why not! I love it! Sorry for the quality of the pic.. its from my cell phone. I hope you like them! See you soon!

¡Más tarjetitas de Navidad!

Espero hayan tenido un ¡hermoso día de Navidad!  El mio estuvo espectacular, en familia... disfrutando de primos y primas que hacen meses no veia. Ya saben.. ¡poniendonos al día! Aunque ya pasó el día de navidad aún quiero compartirles las tarjetas que hice. 

La primera es con Edwin de Magnolia. Los papeles y embellishments son de la colección 12 Days of Christmas de My Mind Eyes y cardstock American Crafts.

I hope you had an amazing Christmas Day! Mine was perfect, with my family; enjoying my cousins, who I havent seen in months.. you know, catching up! And even when Chistmas is almost over (here in Puerto Rico is after january 6, 3 Kings day) I still want to share my cards with you!

Y esta es la tarjeta que le preparé a Michael y en esta usé una stamp de Some Odd Girl los cuales me ENCANTAN por que sus ojotes son tan grandes como los mios! LOL! Papeles nuevamente de My Mind Eyes, cardstock American Crafts, colección Everybody Loves Christmas de Echo Park y embellishments de Pebbles, inc.

And this one was for Michael and I used a Some Odd Girl stamp which I LOVE! because her eyes are as big as mine! LOL!  Again papers from My Mind Eyes, American Crafts cardstock, Echo Park... Everybody Loves Christmas collection and Pebbles, inc. embbellishments.
